Personal Statement Checker is an independent preparation tool for people writing a UCAS personal statement or a master's or PhD statement.

It is not part of UCAS, and it is not affiliated with any university. It does not submit an application, and it does not predict an offer.

Two checks, one draft

The free rule check needs no account. It flags clichés, a fixed list of empty self-praise, repeated sentences and length. It does not read the argument.

AI revision notes are separate. After you sign in, a note quotes sentences from your draft and says what already works, what a selector may question, and what to change. One set is included with an account. Further sets are sold as a pack of 10, usable within 180 days. The notes do not write a replacement statement, and they do not invent hospitals, grades, jobs or scenes.

You keep the draft. The experiences in it have to be yours.
